Most AMAZING Water Parks in the World

Water parks come in all shapes and sizes, all with their own special twist added to the mix. Insane wave pools, rides that feature dips and dives, sharks and sting-rays and of course rides for the not so brave! Today we’re heading off to sunny places where hats, sunscreen and holiday vibes are a necessity.

9 – Life is simple, just add water…
New York is home to Splish Splash which was ranked as the 3rd best water park in the US by Travel Channel. Built in 1989, improvements have been made so often that it’s now home to 1,300-foot lazy river, 18 water slides and 2 wave pools, not forgetting loads of fun for the little ones. Splish Splash is the only water park in the New York State that has a water roller coaster.

8 – Another adventure…
Not to be confused with our earlier mention of Aquaventure Waterpark in Dubai, this one is located in the Bahamas and is just as much fun! There are 20 swimming pools to choose from, a kid’s water play fort area, thrilling water slides and many of their swimming areas feature the most beautiful cascading waterfalls.

7 – Water – the driving force of nature…
And Fun! Let’s head to Water World in Denver where we’ll be blown away by 40 aquatic attractions including the Mile-High Flyer which is a serious water coaster – fast and intense! There’s the Storm, which takes riders on a raft through a dark tunnel that simulates a real storm – lightning, thunder and loads of rain! If speed is more your thing, then take a ride on the Turbo Racer, you compete with 7 of your friends to get to the bottom first and if you’re the winner, your name is announced to everyonee and you can soak up the adoration of all your fans!

6 – There’s always a first…
You wouldn’t think that tropical islands and Germany go hand in hand, but they do at the Tropical Islands water park in Krausnick. This paradise is housed inside the “largest free-standing hall in the world.” The structure was originally built to store airships, which as you know, are ginormous! 6,000 people can head to this water park every day, and the indoor pool measures 656-feet! Besides all the awesome water rides you can go on, you can even take a balloon ride or head to the rainforest which has 50,000 species of plants! This is one to add to your bucket list!

5 – Escape from reality…
This is the Suoi Tien Cultural Theme Park, a Vietnamese water-world that is devoted to Buddhism. Forget about your Mickey Mouse and your Daffy Duck, and rather expect to find the Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise and Phoenix – all the Buddhist sacred animals. Besides a lot of the focus being on Buddha, the park also brings in elements of Vietnamese history and folklore. The park has often been described as “Disneyland gone mad” because it’s so colourful, and there’s a pretty unusual activity hosted here. You can feed chicken to the crocodiles! There are 1,500 crocs all patiently waiting for you to feed them. Too risky? We understand! Then take a ride through the 18 Gates of Hell. Enjoy the blood-curdling screams of the repenting sinners.

4 – Wet behind the ears…
Indonesia is home to Waterbom Bali, and you’ll experience a day you won’t forget in a hurry. TripAdvisor rates this water park as one of the best in the world, and it’s here that you can experience the Climax. This ride exerts a 2.5 G-force of speed while whirling you down a near-vertical drop and then looping you back around. If 2.5 is just a tad steep for you, then ride the ‘Smashdown 2.0’, which as the name suggests, only has a 2.0 G-force attached to it. Cool off with a ride down the Lazy River or a game of water volley ball!

3 – Adrenaline Rush…
Adrenaline junkies, this waterpark has your name written all over it! It’s Raging Waters San Dimas in San Dimas, California. The water slides here are guaranteed to get your heart racing. Definitely opt for Dark Hole, a pitch-black slide that boasts a 52-foot drop… except you don’t know when that drop is actually going to happen! Then there’s the Bermuda Triangle, a slide that reaches speeds of up to 50 mph! Otherwise, if you’re just keen for the tingling sun on your back and a quick dip, head to the million-gallon wave pool!

2 – Where do we start?
There are so many amazing attractions at World Waterpark in Alberta, Canada, that I’m not sure where to start! It’s firstly located inside a gigantic shopping mall! It’s the second largest indoor water park in the world and boasts the largest indoor wave pool in the world. The wave pool alone holds 2.7 million gallons of water. There’s an incredible looping water slide, a bungee jump that has you suspended over the wave pool and a zipline that takes right over the heads of the swimmers. Enjoy the Blue Bullet, the Howler and the Twister, or perhaps take it easy and join the kids on the Splash pad!

Why don’t people do their research before posting stupid videos like this. Very insensitive to include Verruckt when a young lad was killed on that ride and then it was closed down.
